Raspberry Pi Power Supplies
When it comes to powering your Raspberry Pi, we always recommend using an Official Raspberry Power Supply.
If you want to guarantee a steady, quality supply of power to your projects without drop-outs or random restarts, we strongly recommend using the power supply that was designed for the board, by the same people who designed the board!
The latest Raspberry Pi 5 requires either the 27W USB-C power supply or the 45W version, both of which have the required 5V 5A PD mode to ensure you enable the full performance of the board. Other Raspberry Pi models use either USB-C or Micro-USB power supplies - view each board's product page to see the recommended Raspberry Pi PSU.
That being said, mobile projects and other similar use cases sometimes call for a different approach, especially when there aren't any plug sockets around! For these projects we stock a range of other power options and accessories to help you make your project a reality - such as Raspberry Pi PoE equipment, power/adapter cables, Power HATs and more.
