This HAT for Raspberry Pi 5 uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) which allows you to power your Raspberry Pi through a single power-injected ethernet cable, reducing cable clutter and providing an easier setup. It only uses 6 GPIO pins, leaving the majority of your GPIO free for other uses.
This HAT includes two sets of PoE headers, giving it compatibility with the Raspberry Pi 5 and the Raspberry Pi 4 and 3B+!
It supports the IEEE 802.3af/at network standard, delivering up to 5V 4.5A of power, making sure your Raspberry Pi has the juice it needs for challenging projects. The HAT has an active cooling fan and an aluminium heatsink, which work together to keep your Raspberry Pi running at optimal temperatures, even under heavy loads.
Notes
Please ensure that the PSE device port provides at least 25W of power output
The PSE device must be an IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE router or switch
The Raspberry Pi and switch are NOT included in the package.
