It features the same quad-core 64-bit Arm processor and RP1 I/O controller found in Raspberry Pi 5, and 8GB RAM! With a one-piece aluminium heatsink built-in for improved thermal performance, your Raspberry Pi 500 will run fast and smoothly even under heavy load, while delivering glorious dual 4K display output.
Technical specifications aside, a few subtle changes have been made compared to Raspberry Pi 400 - such as the repositioned USB ports and new power button functionality which works the same as the Raspberry Pi 5 button. It's now also all-white - which we think looks dead smart!

Raspberry Pi 500 comes with a 32GB Raspberry Pi A2-Class Micro-SD card, the recommended SD card for all Raspberry Pi computers.
You will need to add your own 27W power supply, Micro-HDMI cable, mouse and monitor. The Raspberry Pi 500 has an RJ45 Ethernet port, so grab an Ethernet cable if you plan to hard-wire your internet/LAN connection.

Haven't had a Pi since the 2nd generation and loving this all in one product. Looks great with 4K output too. Recommended for anyone really but would make a great present for a child. Affordable way to get into programming/engineering - a lot cheaper than a Beeb back in the day!
Really like being able to swap out cards easily for different functions, just as in every Pi.

It's a very good product. An SD card with Raspberry Pi OS is provided with this product. I suggest you to buy with it the official power block. I just like to have a procedure to simulate it with Qemu on an 64 bit x86 desktop PC.

The golden age of the micro. Is back it's perfect for a home office computer or student learning to programme . It beats the bloated p cs any day.id highly recommend thre 500.

Great upgrade on the Pi400 bringing the Pi5 speed.
I understand it is a cost decision but it is very unfortunate that it does not have the option of NVME SSD drives though.
