We already stock a PCIe to M.2 E-Key HAT for using wireless NICs with your Raspberry Pi 5, however, this model also includes IEEE 802.3af/at PoE functionality to power your Pi 5 (5V 4.5A max.), along with a handy 12V output header (2A max.).
We offer this product as either just the HAT itself, or bundled with a compatible AX210 Wi-Fi 6E wireless NIC offering 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.3 - please select an option before adding to your cart.
This HAT takes advantage of the Raspberry Pi 5 PCIe interface to offer an NGFF (Next Generation Form Factor) M.2 E-Key slot for your Pi 5, allowing you to connect an E-Key wireless NIC (Network Interface Controller).
The HAT supports the E-Key device with dual SMA female antenna connectors, with two antennas included in the package. Two IPEX 1 to IPEX 4 adapter cables are also included to connect your NIC to the HAT/antennas.
Bluetooth signals from the installed NIC are communicated to the Raspberry Pi via the included USB-C/USB-A adapter PCB.
This board also provides PoE functionality, allowing you to power your Raspberry Pi with a power-injected RJ45 Ethernet cable, using the IEEE 802.3af/at network standard.
Powering via PoE can provide 5V 4.5A MAX for your Raspberry Pi, and 12V 2A MAX via the 12V pin header (useful for powering other hardware). A power LED on the HAT provides power status indication.
Raspberry Pi not included.
Check out this video from Jeff Geerling as he tries the non-PoE version of this board with an Intel BE200 WiFi 7 NIC:
Note: AX210 NIC is only included in the bundle option.
