The ShellyWave i4 is a Z-Wave input reader device (no relays!) which allows you to manually activate or deactivate any created scene, run synchronised actions, or execute complex trigger scenarios.
You can use it to control other Z-Wave devices within your network with one push of a button. Due to its retrofit design, it is small enough to fit behind some wall switches, or Shelly wall switches. The Wave i4 can show the status and control the action of four inputs, offering maximum convenience by enabling manual control of your smart home to all family members.
Different types of actions, scenarios, and schedules can be set to sync your environment to your daily activities or business needs, via the Shelly smart home ecosystem, including the Shelly Smart Control app - or link it with a popular home automation software such as Home Assistant via a Raspberry Pi!

Do not connect the device to appliances exceeding the given max load.
Use the device only with a power grid and appliances which comply with all applicable regulations. Short circuit in the power grid or any appliance connected to the device may damage the device.
Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no voltage, you can start wiring the cables.
