The ShellyWave Plug UK is a Z-Wave smart plugwith power metering that allows you to automate and remotely control any 3D printer, space heater, iron, TV, or any other connected electrical appliance at home with a power capacity of up to 3000 W at 13A, whilst also monitoring their power usage.
Its LED indication ring keeps you informed about the current power consumption and the current state of the appliance (e.g. if overcurrent or overheating is detected). The LED mode can be changed, or disabled altogether if you desire.
Once installed, include it in your Z-Wave network (Z-Wave gateway is required) and control it from anywhere using your smartphone or tablet. Shelly Wave devices work with over 4000 Z-Wave-certified devices and gateways.
By using Z-Wave, smart home products can seamlessly communicate with each other, regardless of their brand or platform, thanks to a centralised smart hub! Shelly devices work on the latest Z-Wave chip generation (S800), one of the most popular standardised technologies for smart homes in the world.
