The SenseCAPA1102 is an industrial-grade LoRaWAN® AI vision sensor designed for privacy-conscious, low-bandwidth, long-range applications. It performs real-time image inference locally using a built-in MCU-based camera module, operating at 480×480 resolution and 10 FPS. Instead of sending raw images, it transmits only the AI inference results over LoRaWAN (863–928 MHz), ensuring both efficiency and data privacy.
Out of the box, the A1102 includes three AI models: human detection, people counting, and meter reading. Through the SenseCraft AI platform, you can deploy over 300 pre-trained models or create custom models with a simple, no-code workflow. It also supports models trained using TensorFlow Lite or PyTorch, giving you flexibility in building edge AI solutions without needing high-spec hardware or complex integration.
Designed for deployment in demanding environments, the sensor comes in an IP66-rated enclosure with a built-in 19Ah Li-SOCl₂ D-size battery, allowing for independent operation in the field. It also supports 12V DC power input for constant use via an optionaljunction box. The device integrates Grove Vision AI V2, XIAO ESP32S3, and Wio-E5, and connects with the SenseCAP Mate app and SenseCraft dashboard for configuration, management, and visualisation. A 3-month free trial of SenseCraft Cloud is included, with open API support for third-party platforms.
