The SenseCAP CO₂, temperature, and humidity sensor is designed for reliable environmental monitoring in a range of indoor and outdoor settings such as greenhouses, urban infrastructure, farms, and transit stations. Using non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology, it provides accurate and continuous CO₂ concentration readings, alongside temperature and humidity, output via standard digital interfaces.

The sensor supports both RS-485 (Modbus-RTU/ASCII) and SDI-12 communication protocols, making it compatible with most data acquisition devices and systems. With a wide 5–24V operating voltage range and low power consumption (down to µA in SDI-12 mode), it suits both fixed and mobile deployments. The built-in calibration functionality simplifies integration and maintenance, while optional manual calibration can be triggered via onboard keys or serial commands.

Internally, the sensor features a single air chamber with a dual-channel setup, enhancing measurement reliability. It uses a PTFE breathable membrane with a protective enclosure, improving air permeability and ensuring stable long-term performance. With a small form factor, it is easy to install and connect to data loggers like the SenseCAP S2100 LoRaWAN Data Logger or Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger for remote access.
