Code the Classics - Volume 1 - 2nd Edition by Raspberry Pi Press - The Pi HutCode the Classics - Volume 1 - 2nd Edition by Raspberry Pi Press - The Pi Hut

Play retro games like never before using the RGBerry with your Raspberry Pi! With this RGBerry board, you can connect your old CRT TV or any Professional Video Monitor directly to your Pi using SCART output (we also offer an RGBS version).

It fits discreetly on top of the Raspberry Pi, avoiding the clutter of cables and fixtures used with other possible solutions. It is also usable with other compatible boards, plugging directly onto the GPIO header.

Use it with your favourite software such as Retropie - it's easy to install and configure. Just follow the Quick Start Guide and enjoy playing games like when you were a kid.

NOTE: Raspberry Pi 5 has changed the way PWM Audio works, now located on pins 12 and 13, which are used for RGB signals. So there will be no audio output on SCART when used with Pi 5, you must use an external USB/Bluetooth soundcard.

RGBerry SCART - RGB Arcade HAT for Raspberry Pi
Can't praise this enough! Works perfectly with recalbox crt mode, like a mini time machine bringing back all the nostalgic magic of how you truly remember it not butchered on a HD TV upscaled onto a shocking mess. The hat is solid built and looks quality, there's no case available for it but it fits on my neo case with a little modification, I used pi5 the sound doesn't work though the scart as it's stated but easily got round that with a usb aux output, highly recommend!

RGBerry SCART - RGB Arcade HAT for Raspberry Pi
This product is fantastic, perfect 240p resolution for CRT TVs. It makes the Pi gives THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE as the original console. Easy to install, just flash the image the manufacturer has on their website and you're good to go. I'd only suggest to make available a case for this. I modified my current case and it does the job but it would be nice to see a proper case for this setup. Again, can't recommend this enough.

RGBerry SCART - RGB Arcade HAT for Raspberry Pi
Bought this one because the popular alternatives weren’t available in the uk and it’s turned out great after some niggles setting up (use their provided OS builds if you can). If you’re after a 240p emulation setup for your CRT, this is a good buy.

RGBerry SCART - RGB Arcade HAT for Raspberry Pi
Excellent bit of kit. Up and running in less than 10 minutes. Retro gaming on an old 14" CRT TV via RGBerry SCART is the best way to experience classic 8/16bit games at home. I highly recommend this super add-on if you have access to an old CRT TV set and want to relive games from the late 1970's, 80's and 90's.

RGBerry SCART - RGB Arcade HAT for Raspberry Pi
Excellent service from the Pi Hut as always. The RGBerry was extremely easy to set up with the linked Recallbox image - about 10 minute from unpack to running on scart monitor here. Going to be used to replace a flaky arcade board in a Space Harrier upright at least whilst it's repaired, but I can see it staying in there to allow some other games to run too.
