The R7FA4 Plus A development board is based on the same R7FA4M1 32-bit microprocessor the Arduino UNO R4 Minima and uses a similar board style and layout.
The RA4M1 provides increased processing power, expanded memory, and additional peripherals. It is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor, with a main operating frequency of 48MHz. The board also features 256 kB of Flash and 32 kB of RAM.
The board features 5V/3.3V headers that make voltage adjustments easier, accommodating a wider selection of expansion modules. It offers flexible power options, including a USB-C port and an external power input supporting 6V to 24V, providing versatility in power management. For ease of monitoring and troubleshooting, the board includes a power indicator LED, a user LED, and LEDs for serial communication signals (RX and TX).
Additionally, there is a 12-bit DAC, CAN bus, and operational amplifier. It also has an onboard ICSP interface that can be utilised as an SPI interface and supports the soldering of additional interfaces for those looking to tailor the board to specific project needs. A USB-C cable is included.
We also stock the PLUS B version!
