This is a combined Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) base board for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4), offering you multiple power supply options alongside a host of other great breakouts and features.
The UPS feature uses three 18650 batteries (batteries not included). It can charge the batteries and provide power output for the system at the same time from the external power supply. It automatically switches over to the battery output if the external power supply is unavailable, keeping the system running without any trouble.
The board also supports Gigabit 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing you to power your project from a PoE injected Ethernet cable. If PoE isn't right for your project just yet, you can also use the DC input port (7-36V) or the 5V USB-C port.
