This A4983 motor driver from Olimex can control two stepper motors or standard gear motors (up to 2.5A loads), with an input power of 6-35V via the handy spring terminals.

Whilst this simple motor driver does not have a user guide, usage is a case of simple GPIO control and an example Arduino IDE script can be found in the OLIMEXINO-85 package, allowing you to use this with a range of development boards including the Arduino UNO.

The spring contacts allow easy connect-disconnect of motor cables and power supplies. Jumper wires can be used with the female headers to connect to a development board.
