These durable plastic gearbox 'TT' Motors are an easy, low-cost option for your next robotics project.

These motors have a 1:48 ratio and come with ~200mm wires pre-fitted with male jumper wire ends (2.54mm) which makes them perfect for use in a breadboard (or with female sockets on your motor driver).

These motors can handle anything between 3V and 6V, with 6V offering the fastest speeds. They will draw up to ~1.5A when stalled at 6V (the top end of the range) so make sure your motor driver can handle that.

These are basic motors designed for beginners and simple projects. Simplicity and affordability is the name of the game here, so there's no speed control. encoders or anything advanced - simply add voltage and GO! You may also see some variation in speed from motor to motor, as the tolerance is a little wider on these affordable motors.

A good motor driver for these is the DRV8833 as it works at 3V levels and can be set up with current limiting (good for that 1.5A peak draw).
