A Zigbee 60GHz mmWave Radar sensor combined with a TVOC air quality sensor, lux sensor and RGB night light for your home automation system, providing accurate sensing of humans along with useful local environmental data.
This sensor uses Zigbee 3.0 to connect to your Zigbee-enabled smart home system, such as Home Assistant, and includes a combination of features to provide useful and reliable triggers for your indoor automations.
The main feature is the 60GHz mmWave Radar sensor, which can reliably detect human movements and even stationary persons, without relying on body heat or large movements which can often product false triggers on lesser sensor options. The detection level can be set from 1-6m.
The onboard TVOC sensor provides local air quality data, which can be used for triggers in your smart home system, providing readings in pbb (parts per billion). There's also a lux (illumination) sensor measuring local light levels, which pairs well with the onboard night light, adding further functionality in a single sensor unit.
The sensor is powered via USB-C, requiring a 5V 1A input supply. A USB-C cable is included.
We recommend updating the sensor's firmware as ThirdReality had introduced a number of improvements since release.
