The SupTronics X1300 HDMI to CSI-2 Bridge for Raspberry Pi 5 lets you capture 1080p60 HDMI video through the CSI interface.
The Supronics X1300 is an HDMI to CSI-2 bridge specifically designed for Raspberry Pi 5. Using the Toshiba TC358743XBG chip, it supports HDMI input up to 1080p at 60fps, allowing you to capture high-definition video from any HDMI source directly through the Pi’s CSI camera interface.
This makes it ideal for projects where HDMI video needs to be integrated into a Raspberry Pi workflow - such as smart TVs, set-top boxes, digital signage, or KVM over IP systems. It’s also a practical solution for using HDMI-output cameras as CSI camera devices with Raspberry Pi boards, or for custom smart monitors and entertainment displays that require HDMI video capture.
An onboard interface supports connection to the optional X1300-A2 I2S Audio Accessory, enabling HDMI audio capture via I2S. Combined with the Raspberry Pi 5’s H.264 encoding and CSI-2 input, this bridge board offers a compact, high-quality HDMI capture option for embedded video applications.
Raspberry Pi, Active Cooler and X1300-A2 board not included.
Here are some example applications of HDMI to CSI (Camera Serial Interface) conversion:
