The Elecfreaks Smart AI Lens is a durable AI add-on for the BBC micro:bit (not included) designed to be used in conjunction with a Nezha or TPBot kit (not included) from Elecfreaks.
The AI Lens offers a range of clever yet easy-to-use AI features to take your micro:bit projects up a gear! The Lens can recognise faces, track coloured balls, recognise cards and perform characteristics acquisition. It has a bright and clear 1.3" display with a 240x240 resolution which can clearly display the target from the 90-degree wide-angle lens on the rear. It can even be used for line tracking in robotics projects!
The unit is compatible with popular building bricks, allowing you to integrate it with your brick projects - and a great add-on for any Nezha Inventor's Kit owner! Coding is simple too, using the popular drag n' drop Microsoft MakeCode block-based coding environment and the provided Wiki and project examples.
Just like the Nezha and TPBot, the AI Lens uses RJ11 connections which are both quick and easy to connect, however these can also be broken out into jumper wires using the included adapter cable. The tough ABS shell ensures the unit is durable for handling by children!
The kit includes the AI lens, tracking balls, 41 recognition test cards and cables.
