The SenseCAP S2103 is a wireless LoRaWAN sensor designed for accurate measurement of CO₂ concentration, air temperature, and humidity in outdoor environments. It captures CO₂ levels between 400 and 10,000 ppm, temperatures from -40°C to 85°C, and relative humidity from 0 to 100 %RH (non-condensing), making it suitable for industrial environmental monitoring.
This sensor is built for longevity and deployment flexibility. It’s housed in an IP66-rated enclosure to withstand harsh weather, from high UV exposure to rain and dust. It transmits data reliably over LoRaWAN with a range of up to 2km in urban areas and 10km in line-of-sight conditions. Power comes from a standard Li-SOCl₂ D-size battery with up to 10 years of service life, reducing maintenance needs.
Setup and configuration are handled via built-in Bluetooth using the SenseCAP Mate app. The sensor supports OTA updates and can be integrated into LoRaWAN networks such as The Things Network, Loriot, or Chirpstack. Remote data access and device management are available through the SenseCAP Portal, which supports MQTT and HTTP APIs for custom integration.
The S2103 has been reliability-tested for performance under extreme temperature swings, water exposure, freezing, and long-range communication, ensuring dependable operation throughout its service life. It also supports time interval settings and threshold alerts through the app interface.

The frequency plan setting is none by default, and it will not transmit RF signal until it has been set by the app via Bluetooth at the first power-up. And it can be changed to other frequency plans at any time.
