The SenseCAP S2101 is a battery-powered, IP66-rated LoRaWAN® wireless temperature and humidity sensor designed for long-term deployment in demanding environments. It measures ambient temperature from -40°C to 85°C and relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH (non-condensing), making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and environmental monitoring scenarios.
Built on the LoRaWAN protocol, the S2101 offers a transmission range of up to 2km in urban environments and up to 10km in line-of-sight conditions. It supports worldwide LoRaWAN® frequency plans (863–928MHz) and works with any compliant gateway, making integration straightforward. Configuration and firmware updates are handled via built-in Bluetooth and the SenseCAP Mate app, with a simple 4-step no-code setup process.
Designed for outdoor use, the sensor's rugged IP66 enclosure protects it from UV, heavy rain, dust, and extreme temperatures. It is powered by a replaceable Li-SOCl2 battery (ER34615), offering up to 10 years of maintenance-free operation.
To ensure durability and accuracy over time, the S2101 has been validated through a series of reliability tests including high/low temperature, waterproofing, freezing, communication range, and factory conformance testing. The sensor is also fully frequency-agile, allowing for plan switching if needed.
This makes the S2101 ideal for use in smart agriculture, smart city infrastructure, outdoor environmental monitoring, and cold chain logistics.

S210x Devices are manufactured to support the universal frequency plan from 863MHz ~928MHz in one SKU. That is to say, every single device can support the frequency plans below - the sensor can be switched to other frequency plans at any time:

The frequency plan setting is none by default, and it will not transmit RF signal until it has been set by the app via Bluetooth at the first power-up. And it can be changed to other frequency plans at any time.
