This HAT incorporates a highly accurate I2C real-time clock (RTC) that features a DS3231SN high precision RTC chip, and a backup battery holder to ensure accurate timing in the event of power-losss. A standard 40-pin header layout for the Raspberry Pi and Raspberry Pi Zero makes for easy integration, and is compatible with extended header-pins to enable HAT stacking.
