The Seeed IP56 RS485 Air Temperature, Humidity and Barometric Pressure Sensor covers a wide measuring range — 0–100% RH, –40 to 125°C, and 300–1100 hPa. It’s a practical choice for smart agriculture, weather stations, evapotranspiration tracking, mould prevention and general environmental monitoring. When used with the SenseCAP S2100 Data Logger, it offers straightforward data collection and management.

This 3-in-1 design uses a SENSIRION® temperature and humidity sensor together with a BOSCH® barometric MEMS chip, giving accurate readings with a quick response. The sensing components are built onto a small PCB at the tip of the probe, measuring just 108mm × 16mm, which makes installation simple and allows it to slot easily into existing systems. Each sensor is factory-calibrated before it ships.

By combining temperature, humidity and pressure readings, the sensor can also produce useful calculated values such as vapour pressure, dew point, frost point, absolute humidity, vapour density, cloud base height and altitude. It communicates over RS485 and includes surge protection for stable, reliable operation. Mounting options include wall mounting or using a flange for duct installations.

Its low power draw makes it suitable for battery-powered setups, and built-in reverse-power and lightning protection help it stand up to demanding environments. With its compact size, individual calibration and flexible mounting options, it’s a solid choice for adding accurate atmospheric measurements to new or existing monitoring systems.
