The Roller485 Lite Unit is an all-in-one brushless DC motor control kit for efficient motion control. It supports 6-16V DC power input through the PWR485 interface or 5V input via the Grove connector and can automatically adjust power settings for optimal performance. With a built-in FOC closed-loop drive system and a 3504 200KV brushless motor, it can handle a continuous phase current of 0.5A and up to 1A for short bursts, without needing to cool down.

The motor driver has a magnetic encoder for feedback, providing precise control over current, speed, and position. To make monitoring easy, it includes a 0.66" OLED display showing the device's real-time status. There’s also an RGB indicator light and a function button for easy interaction.

The unit's base is designed with both LEGO-compatible mounting holes and M3 screw holes, making it easy to assemble and put into projects. Roller485 Lite's hardware and software are fully open-source, allowing for motion control and parameter adjustment via RS485 or I2C buses. It also provides SWD and SWO debugging interfaces for added flexibility in development. Ideal for use in robotic joints, motion control systems, industrial automation, and visual demonstrations, this versatile product fits a wide range of projects.

Note: The main difference between the Unit-Roller485 Lite and Unit-Roller485 is that the Lite version does not include the slip ring extended Grove connector or the top LEGO expansion interface.
