The upgraded Gravity I2C DS1307 RTC module is a compact and cost-effective Real Time Clock suitable for applications like time clocks and data loggers. This newer version is smaller and includes a high-precision crystal oscillator that significantly reduces time errors to about 1 second in 24 hours. The module is powered by a single-cell CR1220 battery, expected to last 3 to 5 years, and maintains a 4KB EEPROM for recording alarm and event information. Users can adjust the I2C address easily. With its Gravity I2C interface, the module connects seamlessly to the DFRobot Gravity IO expansion shield. It's compatible with the Arduino DS1307 library from DFRobot, facilitating straightforward time-setting and display functions, making it a practical choice for Data Acquisition (DA) applications.
