The Raspberry Pi 1 Model A+ (A Plus) Is just 56mm long, 12mm thick and uses up to 45% less power than a Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+

This newly updated version of the Model A does much more than simply bring it in line with the Raspberry Pi Model B+ released in the summer - the Raspberry Pi Model A+ is the same dimensions as a HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) add-on board and can run at nearly half the power consumption as the Model B+.

Excellent way of adding a 2nd ethernet port to a Pi2

I do have pi zeros and needed ethernet on them and have bought 2 of these and I have also used them on a Pi 2 and Do not see why the should not work on a Pi3 or a A+

Q: Is it as powerful as RPi 3?
I'm using my Pi for Retro gaming, and the size of this one is really tempting.

A: The answer is probably ... maybe. I use A+ as an internet radio/music player and as such it is fine but the A+ is not as fast as the Pi 3. Also see (https://www.reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/comments/2m80am/is_raspberry_pi_a_good_enough_for_retropie/) which casts some doubt on its overall suitability. Safe with the Pi 3 but if you really want the form factor....

A: No, this is the A+, which is a smaller version of the Pi B+. It has much less processor power and RAM than the Pi 3 B, but its small size is useful in some cases. The Pi Zero is even smaller and cheaper, with near-identical capabilities, so it's usually a better choice.

A: Yes, the model A+ does have a 3.5mm headphone jack, which makes it useful for such applications as Internet radios (though you may or may not be happy with the audio quality).

A: The output jack is a 4-pole composite/audio 3.5mm jack. You will need a special cable to to breakout the audio from the video, can be bought or easily built.
