If you're looking for a small LED matrix for your next smart lighting/ LED display project, then the Puzzle Unit is right up your street! It's a multi-colour light control module with an 8 x 8 RGB array made of 64 WS2812E RGB LEDs. Each LED is separated, creating clearer and more vibrant lighting effects without interference between adjacent lights.
It's easily expandable using the two Grove connectors onboard, one for input signals and one for output. This lets you link up multiple Puzzle Units together to create larger lighting displays. An expansion connector is included to let you do this from the get-go, how convenient!
If that wasn't enough, the Grove connector also has an IO port, making it easy to connect other M5 devices like a potentiometer if you're looking to take a more hands-on approach with your project. There is an M2 mounting hole on the bottom for secure attachment and the unit itself is easy to install.
