The Elecfreaks Pico:ed V2 Smart Cutebot is a compact rear-drive smart car driven by dual high-speed motors and the RP2040-powered Pico:ed V2 (included!).
It's a fantastically fun way to engage children and teach them how to code whilst having far too much fun, using easy-to-learn simple graphical programming blocks. Great for us big kids too!
The robot is easy to assemble - just install the battery pack (3xAAA batteries required - not included) and ultrasonic sensor and you're ready to start coding. Use code to control the car, or combine it with an infrared remote control (not included) to enable manual control. The CuteBot uses a fully enclosed motor which will not be damaged due to dust and debris like normal motors, and is compatible with building bricks from packs such as the Nezha!
Supports MicroPython via Thonny and has a detailed online user guide including a number of projects to learn with and build upon.
If you've got a micro:bit, you may also want to check out the Smart CuteBot for micro:bit.
