This is a water pressure sensor that adopts the DFRobot Gravity 3-pin interface. It supports standard 5V voltage input and 0.5~4.5V linear voltage output. It is compatible with multiple Arduino controllers. Coordinate with a DFRobot Gravity IO Expansion Shield, the water pressure sensor can be plugged into an Arduino board, wiring-free. Put it with Solenoid Valve, Water Turbine Generator and other sensors, you can build a smart water control system.

Briefly speaking, this water pressure sensor is a stethoscope to a water pipe. It will help you to diagnose whether there is water, how strong the water pressure is. It can be widely applied to smart home control systems (SCS), Internet of Things (IoT) and device detections.

Features

  • Support water pressure detection of living environmental water systems, such as houses, gardens and farms
  • Support water pressure detection of the outdoor environment, such as rivers, lakes and sea

    Gravity: Analog Water Pressure Sensor
I don't have a lot to say really. The sensor is very easy to set up and works. It seems to be accurate, stable and reliable (I have only been using it for 2 weeks).

    Gravity: Analog Water Pressure Sensor
Great quality with G1/2 adaptor, suitable for UK mains water pressure measurement. Pressures in UK vary from about 1 Bar (poor water supply) to 7 or 8 Bar. The range of this sensor gives it a maximum of 12 Bar - a reasonable overhead. The full scale output has a range of 4V at 12 Bar, yielding 3 Bar per volt. Since most mains pressures are in tge range 1-3 Bar, the expected output will be about 0.8-1.5 volt FSD. The DAC will therefore need about 10 bit resolution to be useful.
