This FireBeetle 2 development board has 16M Flash and 2M PSRAM, which helps to drive applications like the LVGL graphics library used in interface design and interaction. Powered by Espressif's ESP32-WROOM-32E-N16R2 module, it includes a 32-bit dual-core processor running at up to 240MHz.

Supporting USB-C and an external 3.7V lithium battery power supply, it can automatically switch between power sources in dual power supply mode. It also has USB and external DC charging modes. This board is great for IoT projects with dual-mode communication support for WiFi and Bluetooth.

We now stock two variants of this board:

  • Onboard PCB Antenna = FireBeetle 2 ESP32-E (SKU DFR1139)
  • External Antenna (With a 2.4GHz antenna included) = FireBeetle 2 ESP32-UE (SKU DFR1140)

The main advantage of external antennas is that they can provide higher gain, which improves the communication range of Bluetooth or WiFi.
