The AtomS3R Ext is a programmable controller designed for prototype development and expansion, built around the ESP32-S3 main controller. It’s perfect for testing and expanding your projects, thanks to its convenient breadboard on top, which allows easy connection and debugging of multiple IO ports. Whether you're working with various peripheral modules or validating different functions, this controller has you covered.

With the integrated ESP32-S3-PICO-1-N8R8 main controller, the AtomS3R has built-in WiFi, 8MB of FLASH, and 8MB of PSRAM. It also includes a power circuit that converts 5V to 3.3V, 2.8V, and 1.2V, making it adaptable to different power needs. It comes with a three-axis BMM150 geomagnetic sensor and a six-axis BMI270 motion sensor, adding extra versatility for motion and orientation-related projects.

The controller has a Type-C connector for power and firmware downloads, along with an HY2.0-4P expansion port, six GPIO, and power pins to easily expand its capabilities. Compared to earlier ATOM series controllers, the AtomS3R Ext has an improved 3D antenna, delivering better signal strength and stability.

Note: To flash the firmware, press and hold the reset button (for about 2 seconds) until the internal green LED lights up, then release the button. The device will enter download mode and is ready for flashing.
