The Atomic Stepmotor Base works with the ATOM series controller and has the high-performance DRV8825 driver chip capable of driving stepper motors. By adjusting its variable resistor, the chip can deliver a maximum current of 1.2A, providing a stable performance for the stepper motor. Additionally, the chip is equipped with overcurrent protection to guarantee the safe operation of both the motor and the base.

The base includes a convenient DIP switch that lets you adjust the motor's subdivision settings for flexibility. This gives you control over the motor’s motion precision and effectiveness, tailored to specific project requirements.

The base has a built-in DC-DC converter chip that requires an external power supply (9-18V) to operate. This provides a stable and reliable motor performance, making the base suitable for a wide range of applications such as 3D printers, CNC machines, robots, automation equipment, and camera gimbals.
