This base is an H-bridge motor driver that is part of the ATOM series controllers, equipped with the DRV8876 motor driver chip. It supports a 9-24V/DC power supply input, which powers the device via an integrated DC/DC circuit. Additionally, it features a voltage divider circuit connected to the ADC pin G33 to allow real-time monitoring of the power input.

This driver delivers an output current of up to 1.5A with a peak of 2A, supporting precise speed control and bidirectional rotation of DC motors. It incorporates an N-channel H-bridge, a charge pump voltage regulator, and current sensing and regulation features. The output is current proportional, and the unit is equipped with multiple protection circuits including under-voltage lockout (UVLO) for the power supply, under-voltage for the charge pump (CPUV), output overcurrent (OCP), and device overtemperature (TSD) protection. Fault conditions are communicated through the FAULT pin.
