Argon EON - NAS Enclosure for Raspberry Pi 4

The Argon EON case for the Raspberry Pi 4 (not included) allows you to build your very own 4-bay Raspberry Pi NAS!

Described as a BYO-NAS (Build Your Own Network Attached Storage), at the heart of the Argon EON are its 4-Bay SATA Hard Drive ports that will allow you to fit two 3.5” SATA HDDs and two 2.5” SATA HDD/SSDs at the same time (or 4x 2.5" SSDs). The maximum rated capacity of each HDD bay is 10TB** for a total of 40TB capacity! You can use existing drives with data already on them if the format/partition is readable by Linux/Raspberry Pi OS.

The design of the Argon EON makes use of space-grade aluminium allowing ultra-modern angular forms without compromising the rigidity and structural stability of the enclosure. The aluminium body naturally conducts and dissipates heat which is backed up by a built-in controllable 60mm fan to cool both the Raspberry Pi and hard disks even at heavy loads.

A programmable OLED Display is neatly situated under the multi-function power button to allow for seamless integration with the case. The OLED can display your IP address, CPU status and other functions required for the operation of your NAS. A real-time clock (RTC) is also built into the case allowing you to maintain accurate time and schedule tasks.

The Argon EON has all ports systematically situated at the back of the unit to hide unsightly cables, including easy access to the MicroSD card and GPIO pins via a removable cover. The Raspberry Pi's dual Micro-HDMI are also converted to full-size HDMI.

A UK 3-pin 12V 5A power supply is included in the package. This powers the entire unit including your Raspberry Pi - no other power supply is required. 

Raspberry Pi and SSD/HDD are not included.

** Whilst Argon have rated the enclosure at 10TB per slot, 18TB drives have been used and tested by the Argon team - however we assume the more reserved 10TB per slot limit is to allow headroom to account for the vast range of different disks with different power consumption ratings in existence. Your mileage may vary over the 10TB specified limit!
