PCIe 1x Side Adapter for Raspberry Pi 5

The Waveshare PCIe 1x Side Adapter board that allows you to connect PCIe x1, x4, x8, and x16 interface devices to your Raspberry Pi 5, offering a different arrangement to your usual "on-top" or "underneath" HATs, sitting next to the Pi 5 rather than on top/bottom.

This side-on format allows you to connect PCIe 1x/x4/x8/16 devices whilst keeping hardware off the top of your Raspberry Pi, allowing unrestricted use of HATs, and ensures active coolers get the full airflow they need.

A board includes a 12V barrel jack power connection, for use with the included 12V 2A power supply, to power PCIe devices (the jack PSU only powers the 12V rails on the PCIe slot. They do not provide power on the 5V or 3.3V rails.12V header). Most PCIe devices do not require the 12V power supply, and need to be directly supplied to the PCIe device itself, instead of supplying 12V to the board.

The package includes the adapter board, 12V 2A UK power supply, transparent acrylic mounting base, custom PCIe cable, GPIO power cable and a fixings pack.

Raspberry Pi and PCIe card not included. This product contains a three-pin UK power supply.
