We call it VGA, but you might call it HD15, SVGA, DE-15, D-Sub or maybe just "the old CRT monitor one". Whatever you call it, this module breaks it out to easy-to-use terminal blocks for whatever hacky VGA project you're planning - perhaps re-purposing old VGA cables for a project, tapping into retro hardware, signal tinkering or simply troubleshooting display issues.
The breakout provides all 15 VGA lines and includes the GND line as well. The connector is 3-row VGA, not the old 2-row style, and has the little side screw posts for a secure cable connection.
The terminal blocks have a decent-sixed flat head screw on them, and use the nicer 'cage trap' style for gripping wires. Each block is clearly labelled so you know which VGA line you're tapping into. Underneath is a foam base (no mount holes I'm afraid).
Did you know? VGA stands for Video Graphics Array.
