USB Type C Screw Panel Mount to 6 pin JST PH Cable

This panel mount cable is great for making USB Type C connections with a panel-mount setup. On the small panel-mount side you get a USB C connector, the other end has power, ground, D+ / D-, and CC1/CC2 lines. We particularly like that the panel mount part is very small, only about half an inch in diameter, and you get a JST PH cable on the other end for quick integration.

Please note this cable has the CC pins exposed but not connected to anything. You can either add 5.1K pull downs for each pin to select standard 5V 2A, or connect up a USB PD-capable device if you want to negotiate higher voltages/currents. Don't leave the CC pins floating!

The adapter can fit holes 11mm to ~13.5mm, so you can drill in your wood, plastic, or metal with a common hole-saw or bit, no special shapes or filing required. Un-screw the plastic nut, insert the plug, and re-attach. Ta-da! Now you have a USB C jack and USB C plug to connect any cable.

It's designed to easily attach to a panel up to 7mm thick (or 0.275"), or as thin as a few mm. Perfect for adding a USB C port to your project enclosure! It also has a removable cap to help protect the USB-C port from dirt or grime.
