The Uctronics M.2 NVMe to PCIe Adapter for Raspberry Pi provides the ability to add high-speed NVMe storage to your Raspberry Pi 5, supporting 2230, 2242, and 2280 size NVMe SSDs with full PCIe Gen2/Gen3 compatibility. Its low-profile design fits neatly underneath the Pi, keeping GPIO headers accessible for other peripherals, using pogo pins for additional power where required.
Whilst primarily designed for use with the Uctronics Rack Pro, they can be used standalone.
Thermal management is handled through support for both the official Raspberry Pi Active Cooler and a range of third-party cooling solutions. A high-quality FFC PCIe ribbon cable is included for connectivity, with up to 5W power delivery supported directly via the cable. An official 27W or 45W USB-C PD power supply is recommended for best results.
This adapter is compatible only with M.2 NVMe SSDs and does not support SATA, PCIe AHCI, or other non-NVMe formats. Some SSDs with Phison controllers, including certain WD models, may not support booting from NVMe on Raspberry Pi.
Raspberry Pi 5 and SSD not included.
