This is an assembled breakout board with a uBLOX MAX-M10S module and SMA female connector suitable for connecting to a suitable active patch antenna.

Available in a 3V board, or a 5V version with a regulator and level converters for use with 5V microcontrollers/supplies. Both boards are fitted with the MAX-M10S GPS module.

Select a version before adding to your cart (3V or 5V).

Suitable for HAB Usage - Max Altitude 50,000 meters / 164041 feet in Flight Mode. The board is constructed on 1.6mm PCB and features a PPS LED and a supercap for retaining settings through power cycles.

On the header are TX, RX, TP (PPS Output),  I2C SDA/SCL and GND. For 3V versions supply is 2.7V to 3.6V. For 5V versions supply is 4.5V to 30V (Max logic level 5.5V).

The MAX-M10S delivers all the benefits of the u-blox GPS platform in a more compact form factor than ever before: high-sensitivity, intelligent power management. Supporting temperatures down to -40'C and featuring a TCXO for better power saving and quicker start-up the MAX is an ideal module.

As per the datasheet the MAX can use up to 22mA under acquisition (5mA in power save mode once tracking).

The breakout has the following dimensions : 22mmx22mmx1.6mm approximately. The default baud rate is 9600bps.
