This sensor works with your Zigbee-enabled home automation system to detect when your garage door is open or closed, allowing you to assign lights and other alerts if you leave the door open (or it's opened unexpectedly).
Powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries (included), lasting up to 2 years under normal conditions/usage, the sensor uses the Zigbee 3.0 protocol allowing it to connect to most Zigbee-enabled smart home systems, including HomeAssistant. It also acts as a repeated for other Zigbee devices, further extending your network.
The sensor features multi-angle offset settings to facilitate different garage door environments, and has four-level adjustable sensitivity to avoid unnecessary triggering, and an optional siren (switch on or off). A 3M adhesive pad is included for sticking to your garage door/surface (be sure to clean the surface first).
