The M5Stack Stamp-AddOn Cam3660 adds 3MP image capture to the Stamp-S3Bat, with an OV3660 sensor, flexible L-shaped FPC design and support for resolutions up to 2048 × 1536 in compact embedded vision projects.
The M5Stack Stamp-AddOn Cam3660 is a CMOS camera expansion module designed for the Stamp-S3Bat.
It is equipped with a 3MP OV3660 image sensor and features an L-shaped flexible FPC cable, connecting to the mainboard via a 0.4mm-24P B2B board-to-board connector.
A metal mounting hole is provided on the side of the lens. The module outputs images through an 8-bit DVP parallel interface and configures the sensor registers via the SCCB bus, supporting image capture at up to 3MP (2048 × 1536) resolution. With its compact size, the module is suitable for installation in devices with limited space and can be used in embedded vision scenarios such as image capture, visual recognition, and video transmission.
We also stock the Stamp-AddOn Cam GC0308 version of this which may be better suited to basic image capture, simple visual monitoring and projects where a low-resolution image is sufficient. Its smaller images also require less memory and processing. However if you are looking for higher-detail photography, QR code recognition, object recognition and image transmission with JPEG output and a wider aperture, which can help in lower-light conditions then this Stamp-AddOn Cam3660 is for you.
