The SenseCAP Watcher is an AI-powered device made to monitor and interact with your environment.
Using the ESP32-S3 platform, it uses the Himax WiseEye2 HX6538 AI chip with an Arm Cortex-M55 and Ethos-U55, which allows it to process image and vector data effectively. Equipped with a camera, microphone, and speaker, the Watcher can see, hear, and respond to its surroundings. It works with a multitude of platforms including Raspberry Pi, XIAO ESP32 and Arduino. and can be used with popular platforms such as Home Assistant and Node-RED.
With the LLM-enabled SenseCraft suite, it understands commands, observes its environment, and responds accordingly. Made to fit into various spaces, the Watcher can monitor areas and react to specific events, making it a great choice for home, office, or other environments.
For connectivity, it includes two USB-C ports: one on the back for power supply only and another on the bottom for both power and programming. It also has a microSD card slot and a Grove connector to expand your Grove projects!
Want to add an AI agent to popular MCUs and SBCs such as Arduino/ ESP32/ Raspberry Pi? Simply connect it to Watcher via UART or HTTP or USB, and you can explore the new frontier of intelligence.
It has open-source support, which allows for customisation and expansion of the watcher's capabilities. extensive documentation and resources are available to support integration and development.
