Thisside-on formatallows you to add a secondary Gigabit Ethernet interfacewhilst keeping hardware off of your Raspberry Pi, allowingunrestricted use of HATs, and ensuresactive coolersget the full airflow they need.
The adapter uses an RTL8111H controller to deliver Gigabit Ethernet via PCIe, offering 10/100/1000Mbps network speeds along with indication LEDs (green = 1000M, yellow = 100M). The board also includes the ability to connect 5V from your Raspberry Pi for additional power, but in most circumstances, this won't be required
The package includes the adapter board, transparent acrylic mounting base, custom PCIe cable, GPIO power cable and a fixings pack.
