The Multi-IO Card, designed for the Raspberry Pi, is a sophisticated HAT that offers a plethora of features suitable for robotic applications. This includes a variety of analogue and digital inputs and outputs, two serial ports, an H-Bridge motor driver, two relays, and two servo ports. Additionally, it features two RTD inputs for precise temperature measurements and six programmable LEDs that can be linked to any input or output, activating upon reaching a set signal threshold. Compatible with all Raspberry Pi versions from Zero to 5, the card's use is simplified by pluggable connectors.
Its relays can switch loads up to 8A and 24V, and status LEDs indicate the relay states and board power. A pushbutton on the card allows for general commands or shutdown of the Raspberry Pi. The card also includes a 24-bit A/D converter for the two 3-Wire RTD ports, an RS485 port compatible with MODBUS protocol for communication with industrial equipment, and an RS232 transceiver connected to one of the Raspberry Pi's USARTs. Mechanically, the card conforms to the Sequent Microsystems Modular Industrial format, enabling installation in a free, 3D printable, stackable enclosure and maintaining uniform mechanical specifications across all cards in this format.
Note: The relays may come in blue or black, depending on the batch.
