This Micro USB to USB Adaptor will convert the Raspberry Pi's Micro USB B Power Port to a full-sized USB A port! It's also compatible with mobile phones as an OTG (on-the-go) host adaptor, which means your device can act as a host (master) or client (slave) device for using keyboards etc. This one's extra small and in black!

Note: When using this item with a Raspberry Pi Zero, you will lose access to the USB port. Great for headless setups...not so great for those wanting to connect a keyboard!

Features

  • Micro USB B (Male) to USB A (Female)
  • OTG On-The-Go Host Adaptor
  • Compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero/3 & Mobile Phones

Works without issue but the casing obstructs the power connection on the zero 2, can be cut away if visuals aren't a concern.

USB-A to Female Micro-USB Adaptor
Firstly, apologies, I wrongly reviewed the shim by mistake. Should be 5 stars not 1. The probl;em with the USB A to USB micro adaptor is that the USB micro connector has fixed latches not sprung oners. So, it doesn't hold in the USB micro socket.

I'm sure it's fine but it's too wide to connect to a Pi Zero because the other USB right next to it is used to power the Zero

USB-A to Female Micro-USB Adaptor
A great value option to convert a female Micro-USB port into a female USB-A port. The construction is good and the adaptor seems to make no difference to data transfer speeds. However, if you are intending to use this with a Raspberry Pi Zero/Zero 2, then be aware that the size of the adaptor does restrict access to the Micro-USB power port located next to the OTG Micro-USB (you can get both power and this adaptor connected at the same time, but it is an uncomfortabley tight fit and may put unnecessary pressure on the ports)

It do its job. But the size is a bit bigger that it didn't allow both the power USB and the data USB socket to plug in at the same time. I did finally by scrapping some plastic out from the side close to the power USB
