micro:Maqueen Plus V2 (AA Battery) - Advanced STEM Education Robot for micro:bit

This is the Maqueen Plus V2, the latest version of the STEM educational robot from DFRobot for the BBC micro:bit (not included). Now optimised with more expansion ports, convenient AA battery power (batteries not included) and a larger body.

The robot is compatible with optional peripheral components such as the HuskyLens AI camera and Maqueen Mechanic kits, which makes it an accessible STEAM robot teaching tool for primary and secondary students. You can even control it using a DFRobot micro:GamePad!  It's not only suitable for classroom teaching but can also be used for after-school extended exercises, robot competitions and more!

Compared to the Maqueen Lite, the Plus V2 offers additional functions and greater performance. Whether you have used a Maqueen series product previously or not, you'll find it very easy to get started with the online wiki.

What’s new in Maqueen Plus V2?

• New plastic box with a deeper base, enough room for the assembled car
• Frosted acrylic protective plate at the bottom, more durable and reliable
• The number of Line-tracking sensors has changed from 6 to 5, more convenient to program and optimise line-tracking code
• Same great motors as the previous Maqueen, running steadily and smoothly
• Changes ultrasonic sensor to SR04, easier to install
• Added 4 RGB ambient lights at the base, RGB car lights have been changed to LEDs
• Removed the less usable magnetic encoder
