The M5Stack Unit RFID-UHF is a UHF RF read/write module with a built-in antenna, offering over 1.5m range at 100mW and simple serial AT command control for logistics and retail tagging applications.
The M5StackUnit RFID-UHF is an ultra-high frequency (UHF) embedded wireless RF read/write module. It adopts the JRD-4035 module solution with a built-in ceramic antenna, completely eliminating the technical uncertainty caused by the need for an additional antenna in ordinary UHF modules.
The optimized RF design achieves low power consumption and high performance, reaching an effective range of over 1.5M with just 100mW transmission power.
Using a serial communication interface along with a built-in package of AT command sets, it achieves plug-and-play functionality, providing a good development and usage experience. It is suitable for scenarios such as warehouse logistics management and smart retail, meeting the needs of monitoring and reading multiple product tags.

Reading Distance Instruction
Regarding the Unit UHF-RFID reading distance, if the actual usage does not reach the nominal 1.5–2m, two aspects should be checked: first, ensure that the transmission power is set to the maximum value; second, note that the device antenna frequency is fixed at 922MHz, and if the frequency set in the software deviates significantly from the antenna frequency, it may also cause a change in the reading distance.
