The M5Stack SG90 Servo is a compact 9g servo with a 0–180° rotation range, suitable for robotics, motion control, and beginner electronics projects using standard servo drivers and microcontrollers.
The M5StackSG90 servo is a 9g servo customized by M5Stack.
It has a rotation angle of 0~180° and can be used with the 8Servos HAT and PuppyC. This small servo is very easy to use for beginners, as you don't need a specialized driver board with feedback control or a complex gearbox. Any common servo driver and microcontroller can easily make it rotate. Compared to driving a stepper motor, using it is indeed much simpler.
You can use it to create some interesting small projects and control certain angles. The operating frequency is 50Hz, and the typical pulse width used is between 1-2ms, with 0° position (1.5ms), -90° position (1ms), and 90° position (2ms). Exceeding the pulse width range may damage the servo. If you find the connecting wire too short, you can purchase a servo extension cable to extend it.
Please note: The yellow wire is the signal line, the brown wire is the ground, and the red wire is 5V. Be careful with the current and voltage supply to prevent burning it out.
