The ENV Pro Unit is a versatile environmental sensor with the BME688 sensor. It measures various parameters like volatile organic compounds (VOCs), indoor air quality (IAQ), temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. Compact and efficient, with a simple I2C communication interface, it is ideal for weather stations, indoor monitoring, and air quality detection. This sensor works in various conditions, handling atmospheric pressures from 300hPa to 1100hPa, humidity levels of 0% to 100%, and temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. It suits environments from sea level to high altitude and extreme conditions.
Upgraded from previous ENV series models, the pro unit not only measures basic environmental parameters but also has enhanced capabilities for VOC measurement, gas scanning, and detecting concentrations down to parts per billion (ppb). Additionally, users can train the unit for specific applications like home appliances or smart homes using the BME AI-Studio tool. This allows for the digital output of various data parameters, aiding in AI-driven data analysis.
