Seeed has created the Grove Base Hat for the Raspberry Pi Zero (or any 40-pin Pi), bringing the Raspberry Pi into the entire Grove system of easily attachable components.
The Grove Base Hat provides Digital/Analog/I2C/PWM/UART port to meet all of your needs. With the help of built-in MCU, a 12-bit 6-channel ADC is also available for your Zero.
Currently, more than 60 grove modules support the Grove Base Hat for Raspberry Pi. In addition, Seeed will continue to add new compatible modules to the compatible list.
Compared with Grove Pi+, the Grove Base Hat for Raspberry Pi Zero does not use the ATMEGA chip for data conversion, so it runs faster. We provide the Raspberry Pi driver for Grove Base Hat for Raspberry Pi Zero. What's more, Grove Base Hat for Raspberry Pi Zero is much more cost-effective. In other words, we lowered the threshold for using the grove series on the Raspberry Pi.
What is Grove?
Grove makes it easier to connect, experiment, and simplify the prototyping process. No jumpers or soldering required. Seeed has developed more than 300 Grove modules, covering a wide range of applications that can fulfil a variety of needs. Not only are these open hardware, but we also have open-source software.
