This board is powered by the Xtensa® 32-bit LX7 dual-core processor, which runs at a high main frequency of up to 240MHz, providing a fast and efficient performance. It supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), providing reliable wireless connectivity, it includes Bluetooth® 5 (LE) for strong communication with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, and the inclusion of a USB-C port provides convenient connectivity and power options.
It's equipped with 512KB of SRAM and 384KB ROM, offering sufficient space for complex programs and applications. Additionally, it features an onboard 4MB flash memory and 2MB PSRAM, further extending its storage capabilities. This combination of memory options makes it suitable for a wide range of projects, from simple LED controls to more intricate IoT applications.

Bought use as a small robot controller and as an upgrade for larger projects where I was running out of memory. Great size if you don't need to use a lot of pins though for those who have keen eyesight there are solder pads on the top and botton of the pcb to access the pins not broken out to the edge. Most code has worked first time but theres a few quirks with larger code that I haven't fathomed yet.

Great value for what it provides - in theory. I've plugged it in and it lights up, but that's about it.
I've spent hours trying to find a development environment that will allow me to do something simple on the board like flash the LED - with complete lack of success. In theory it can do WiFi but I can't find anything about how that integrates with one's own code, what kind of firmware support there is for WiFi etc etc.
In contrast I had code running on my first Arduino within about 15 mins of starting with a blank sheet.

Nice little board, works fine with esp-idf. Would prefer it if the led could be easily disconnected as this rather spoils the deep sleep battery life. Also the ldo is not the best with a quiescent current specified as 100uA. I like the built-in antenna.

Other than using the Arduino IDE and it doesn’t recognise the board as a Zero, and that’s ok really as you can select a S3 DEV board but mine insisted on it being done WiFiduino or such.
Really pleased with buying from Pi Hut, also bought some C3 variants, as post was fast as in next day for me and although you can buy cheaper from Aliexoress, I’d rather support a UK business especially when the service and post is exemplary.
