This ETH board is a development platform built around the ESP32-S3R8 chip, with both wireless and wired connectivity options. It supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5 (LE) and includes an RJ45 Ethernet port for wireless communication, while the W5500 Ethernet chip provides 10/100Mbps wired network capabilities via the SPI interface. An optional PoE module is available, making it ideal for projects that require power over Ethernet.
It includes a camera connector compatible with OV2640, OV5640, and other popular cameras, which gives you the option for image and video capture. It also has a USB Type-C port for power, program downloading, and debugging, along with an SD card slot for additional storage. The Pico header compatibility allows it to work with some Raspberry Pi Pico HATs.
With the ESP32-S3R8 chip, it has an Xtensa 32-bit LX7 dual-core processor capable of running at 240 MHz. The board includes 512KB SRAM, 384KB ROM, 8MB PSRAM, and 16MB Flash memory, providing enough resources for tricky tasks. The antenna has wireless communication, and the option to switch to an external antenna offers added flexibility for specific projects.
With the support of the rich ESP32 ecosystem and open-source resources, you can quickly start secondary development for projects related to the Internet of Things, image acquisition, smart home systems, and AI-driven ideas.
Note: There are two options to choose from. ETH Board Only and ETH Board with PoE module and an OV2640 camera. Please choose which option you want before adding to the cart!
