The Waveshare ESP32-S3 based knob/dial development board comes with all the features you need to make fun projects including touchscreen interaction, dial turning encoders and built-in battery options - all wrapped in a CNC metal case with non-slip base!

The board is equipped with dual MCUs to provide all features on the board. It has an ESP32-S2R8 chip providing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, offering 240MHz operating frequency and 8MB PSRAM, and a separate ESP32 providing Classic Bluetooth, offering 240MHz operating frequency and 4MB PSRAM. The board also includes 16MB additional flash.

The display is a round 1.8" 360x360 touchscreen LCD offering 262k colours, with touch controlled via I2C with interrupt support. Around the edges (inside the unit), the dual encoders provide input when the surround of the unit is turned, with satisfying 'clicky' sound feedback.

Inside, the internal PCB also provides an audio decoder chip, microphone, 3.5mm jack audio output, vibration motor, slot for a MicroSD card and battery charging management.

Cool thing! It looks like a Magic the Gathering life counter project has been made for this device, but we haven't had a chance to test it out yet.
